About CCCA

The Chinese Community Council of Australia (CCCA) is the peak advocacy body for the Chinese community in Australia.

Our mission is to ensure that the needs of Chinese‑Australians are recognised in official policies and in the provision of services at all levels of government; and in the non‑government sector.

In doing so, we aim to increase the representation of Chinese-Australians – now over 4.5% of the population – in our social, political, economic and cultural institutions.

We regularly hold events to foster a spirit of cooperation among Australians of Chinese descent; to establish a discourse around issues of key importance to our welfare; and to provide meaningful opportunities to engage with the wider community.

We also take great pride in celebrating our Chinese heritage, as well as that which makes us uniquely Chinese-Australian; and sharing these cultural traditions with the entire community.
