Our Story: Exhibition and Film at the Immigration Museum

The 160th anniversary of the Great Walk provides our community with an excellent opportunity to share the story of Chinese settlement in Australia, as well as our contribution and achievements since then, with a vast audience. In doing so we will help to uncover what is largely a hidden aspect of Australian history.

To do this CCCAV will work with partner organisations in the arts and cultural sectors to tell our story using a number of different mediums. This will include holding an exhibition at the Immigration Museum, which will also form the basis for a travelling exhibition to go around Victoria and potentially even further afield. We will also utilise the power of film to present our story in a variety of formats to reach a vast and varied audiences in Australia and internationally.
